2. How do you verify staff credentials?
We have a highly stringent credentialing process that includes:

  • License verification + primary source checks
  • Skills validation and competency review
  • Background checks
  • Drug screening
  • Immunization and health record compliance (including flu status, TB, and titers)
  • Facility and specialty specific on-boarding requirements

We do not clear a contractor to work until their profile is fully compliant.

3. Can we hire a Maverick contractor permanently?

Yes! We have no buyout fees and no hiring fees. If you love one of our contractors and want to hire them directly, you are free to do so at no cost.

4. How does your pricing work?
We offer two flexible billing options:

📌 Option 1: Retainer (Prepaid) Staffing Account

  • Deposit funds (retainer) based on your estimated needs
  • Charged per shift at: Contractor rate + 25% transaction fee
  • If funds are insufficient at time of shift: 50% transaction fee applies
  • Unused funds are refundable anytime (minus worked shifts)

📌 Option 2: Weekly Credit Card Billing

  • Keep a card on file
  • Charged every Monday for the previous week
  • Billed at: Contractor rate + 35% transaction fee
  • Includes a detailed weekly shift and billing report

5. Do you require long-term contracts?

No. We work on a flexible, contract-free staffing model designed to reduce restrictions and simplify scheduling for facilities.

6. What is your cancellation policy?

We do not charge cancellation fees unless a shift is cancelled within 12 hours of the scheduled start time.

7. How fast can you fill a staffing request?

Most shifts are filled same day or within 24 hours, depending on specialty and availability. Facilities can also schedule weeks in advance.

Yes. Every facility receives a weekly spreadsheet that includes:

  • All shifts worked
  • Staff member details
  • Hourly rates
  • Transaction fees
  • Remaining (retainer) account balance (if applicable)
